1- Eritrean Liberation Front is a naional democratic organization , which struggles to anchor political deversity , strive for freedom of Eritrean people , and guarantee their humanitarian rights and realization of justice , equality and democracy by any means of struggle .
2- The Front is established in 1960 G.C. by star Eritreans by the leadership of Asheik Idris Mohamed Adem and made ( No alternative to Eritrean full Independence ) its basic slogan as alive embody for the need of our people in refusal of colonization - Haile Sellase's Regime .
3- Its birth was natural extention for all types of previous sruggles, logical development in the series of Eritrean National resistance project against foreign occupation and it is an essential station to lift the Naional struggle to the needed provocation level .

4- It braked up the armed struggle at the begining of September 1961 G.C. from the mouth of the martyr Hamid Idris Awate's Gun and his colleagues of the first squadron on receiving our rights , exemplary means and powerful to break the obstinacy of the Ethiopian regime at the time .
5 - It was possible for it with patient and hardness of it's strugglers to unsuccessful the bet of the regime of the Emperor in playing by the paper of religion and culture diversity and was able to put all Eritreans fight against the enemy . And it succeeded in becoming the true representative of our people's wishes and needs in freedom and independence .
6 - It braked up the enclosure of Information Isolation and apears with it's Issue and it's people raised it's voice to the region and the world and realized political and diplomatic succeeds and earnings in all fields for the benefit of freedom and independence process in our country .
7 - It have achieved a big and successive victory in the field of war against the colonization and the Eritrean Liberation army have registered Huge Bravery and historical Battles which remain pride for all Eritreans and for all those like freedom in the world for ever, and it streched to all parts of Eritrea in a short period of time through it's activities during the public Liberation war .
8 - It transformed since the middle of the seventieth , after liberating the rural regions to the level of liberating the Towns and cities step by step and was able to Liberate most of the Eritrean cities .
9 - It Implanted successful projects to fight against illitercy and diseases in the public by opening schools and clinics in different parts of Eritrea
10 - It has presented assistance to the struggle of the Ethiopian people and helped them on the fight against injustice and it have taken part in order throwing Ethiopian Colonialist regimes ( Haile sellassie - Mengistu Haile Mariam ) .
11- It strengthens it's experience in addition to the Eritrean Liberation Army from another National streams and bodies and groups like the general Eritrean trade union , Awate youth organization , the general Eritrean student union , the general Eritrean women Association , Eritrean peasants Association , Eritrean teachers Association , the Authors and Journalists Association , and Eritrean Lawyers Association .
12 - It has plaied historical and device role for the succeed of the referendum in 1993 G.C when most Eritrean people reserved by refusing the Autocratic style of Assaias regime by the declaration which calls the Eritrean to succeed the referendum process and the respond to the front's call from our people was big and huge .
13- It has exerted a big efforts and under taking for the sake of the Eritrean National unity and it had played a basic role in all naional unification attempts of Eritrean groups before Liberation . It is member of establisher of Eritrean National Alliance in 1996 G.C and Eritrean National Forces group in 1999 G.C. whose name became Eritrean National Alliance in 2002 G.C.
14 - Its organiztional bases are built up on democratic principles and group leadership , and it's general conferences are conducted in acoordance with the constitutional law which is decided by conferences
15 - Its structure is built up on : 1- National Conference 2- Legislative leadership 3- Excutive leadership .
16- Responsibilities of the National Conference : 1- Evaluating the phase 2- Design general plan for the works of the front . 3- Select the leadership .
17 - It has built struggle relations with Liberation forces in the world and consolidated brotherly relationship with the Arab Countries .
18 - The ELF honors the will of our people and is strongly struggling side by side with the ather Eritrean National Organiztions to restore the legitimacy of the rule from the cruel dictatorial regime of Issaias to the hands of the Eritrean people inorder to deside their poltical fate in free Eritrea .
